sleep bra recommendations

Alas I am now dealing with 30/32 FF boobs. I think I'll start wearing a sleeper bra but I am totally confused about which one to buy - and the sizing, which isn't the usual bra sizing from what I can see.

Any suggestions? Something comfortable but supportive - and given that I'd still like a sex life, not totally unattractive/hammock like (hmm)

I have smaller boobs than you (D right now) but i can recommend the mothercare ones. They are very comfy and have lovely colours!

I've got a Royce non-underwired bra from Bravissimo. Its pale pink with silvery bits so its not too matronly. I'm 34G now and I don't think its possible to do supportive + sexy anymore. I think the G stands for bloody Ginormous...am 19 weeks now, hope they don't get any bigger!

I have some from Blooming marvellous which have a crossover thing going on. They aren't exactly gorgeous to look at, but they don't look horrendous. Only think I find is that I was a bit between sizes, so I went bigger from comfort and sometimes I fall out of the middle. Mothercare had some wrap style ones too, but I don't think they were as substantial.

MrsJamin · 01/08/2010 15:06

the mothercare wrap ones are pointless - I'm not especially large but my boobs just kept popping out of them! The other ones aren't particularly comfy but at least they stay where they're meant to.

I thought I had mine a size or 2 too small, which is why I got the BM ones!

I think the message is that you need to try them on!

Sorry to hijack but hello katiecubs - just wanted to know how you are doing. How long do you have to go now?

Lollysunshine · 01/08/2010 21:47

Does anyone know where I can get a maternity bra in a size 36J !!!!

Porcelain · 01/08/2010 22:07

Try Bravissimo. Maybe this one? www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/soft-cup-bras/royce/soft-cup-bras/ro13-details.aspx?colo ur=pink/silver&ck=BRA8TjO%2biEQ%3d

Brastop.com are sometimes good, but I just ran a search on your size and there are no unwired bras on there at the mo.

Lollysunshine · 01/08/2010 22:18

Thanks Porcelain.
I have one bra which I bought in a Bravissimo branch when I was 10 weeks for the pricey sum of £32
I'll have a look at your recommendation though.

Lollysunshine · 01/08/2010 22:20

Just had a look.
I really like that.
i'll gove Ealing a call to see if they have it in stock tomorrow and go and get one if they do.
thanks.

Porcelain - that's exactly the one I was talking about. It's very comfy!

My favourite now is easily a Tesco sports bra (£6) in my current maternity size, the size range goes pretty high! Soft, supportive and much cheaper than the special ones.
