I had a sweep on thursday, nothing happened apart from a very small amount of gloopy (less than size of 5p)stuff with an even smaller amount of blood.

This morning so nearly 2 days after the sweep i woke up with very large lumps jelly stuff yellow or tan coloured but not bloody coming out. It not just when I wipe sorry for the image but it actually is falling out (i.e when i stood up the morning I left a huge gloop on the bed about the size of a grape) and since then that has been happened almost all the time!.

I have some very minor cramping but nothing major its just the sheer amount of it thats making me a little worried - its still happening now.

If this is a show is it normal for it to be as much as this? also could this still be related to the sweep or is it just happening on its own

It is a little icky to say the least.

Sounds like a show. If its worrying you ring the labour ward and see if you can pop in so they can check you over?

Good luck!

Never had a show but bumping for you...

I had the same with DD1 at 39.3 and presumed it was a show, no sign of any bloody stuff for me either, started getting contractions about 6 hrs later and she arrived 5 days later!

Sounds like my show. My waters went and I had a show on the Saturday morning. I then had four days of huge gloopy yuck that was also "falling out" until DD was born on the Wednesday morning. I was astonished at how much there was!

yes it sounds like one,it can be a bit green aswell..talk about embarssing,i remember being in the toilets in the maternity ward and as i came out ,some woman said excuse me,but do you think this is a show, and showed me her pad,i was mortified, but i did walk over and had a look and said yes,and walked of red faced lol.x good luck.

Yep, I'd say that was a show based on my experience. DS was born 2 days after my sweep, the evening after the "gloop" started in the morning. I'd say you're close.

Good luck!

well I am still here although I am gradually getting more crampy and she is really down low now she feels like shes about to fall out when i stand lol.

I suppose time will tell!
