Hi all,

So, not really sure what is going on but would like to see if anyone else has any experience.

24 June - start of last AF (I'm not a hundred percent sure about this but it was roughly around then).

Lots of BD between 5th - 9th of July (although was not meant to BD was just meant to be sex!)

12 July - vomited for 2 hours in the evening. Then some bleeding.

16 July - vomited a couple of times, thought it was weird so did a test and got a BFP.

17 July - tiny bit of spotting

19 July - another BFP
23 July - another BFP
(bit keen on tests here)

24 - 29 July - bits of nausea, but not a huge amount. No other symptoms, but I am currently breast feeding DS so think it would be difficult for my boobs to change!

28 July - went for early scan. No sign of anything there although something (think it was my endosomthing or rather) was thick. Sonographer wanted to double check so gave me a blood test for HCG and progesterone levels. To be repeated on Saturday.

28 July - BFP (still checking!)

29 July pm - results came from yesterdays blood test. HCG is only 18, and progesterone is low. Been told it doesn't look good.

Am I kidding myself thinking I could still be pregnant? Should I just accept that I've had a miscarriage?

I've had no bleeding for 2 weeks. If I had a miscarriage wouldn't I have had some clots or something and would I still be getting BFP?

Thanks

Anyone any ideas? Or is there somewhere else I should post this?

Sorry to say but this does sound like an early miscarriage. You won't bleed until your hCG levels have dropped a bit more so it may be a few more days yet. It will then be quite heavy and there may be clots. Your pregnancy tests are still positive because there is still a bit of hormone around.

If it is any consolation I have 2 lovely kids and had this happen to me once (and 3 slightly later miscarriages as well).

I dont know what is happening, but to answer your question re bleeding, if it IS a mc, then no you dont necessarily have bleeding until your hCG levels have gone down, if at all (ie a missed miscarriage).

Lots of luck, I hope you are ok.
