manicures - ok when preggers??

ive read somewhere you shouldnt have manicures when pregnant - im 6 weeks and was bookin for one next week for a wedding... any one know much? xx

erm i've i had pedicures every 4 weeks through both of my pregnancies. DS seems ok and we'll find out if DC2 has been affected by nail varnish remover/polish in 3 weeks time when I pop.

I'm thinking that this rumour sounds like a load of bollocks and you should enjoy your manicure.

Manicures are fine. There is some guidance on the Internet about not but it is due to a chemical occasionally used in the us being a concern which has been banned in the EU for many years.
