I have suffered low bp all throughout pregnancy. On Sat, I started to get white and black floaters. On Sun I had to go to hosp due to pains (which turned out to be normal ) and my bp was slightly high which they put down to anxiety being in the hosp.

At the docs on Wed and she said my bp had gotten worse and elevated. The bottom number was 87 and she said it becomes a problem when its 90 or higher. I have a mw app. on Mon so she said to tell my mw so she can keep an eye on it.

However, today I started getting floaters again and started feeling 'fuzzy' That's the nearest I can explain it. Was fine for a few hours, but been feeling weird again for about 4 hrs and behind my eyes are aching. Does anyone think this is high bp or maybe I've just caught a bug and feeling a little bit rough?

How many weeks are you?

If it were me I think I'd be wanting to ask for advice from someone qualified - if I were quite far along then I'd be on the phone to the maternity unit/delivery suite, if still quite early then NHS Direct or GP (or out of hours GP).

Fingers crossed its nothing serious and you feel better soon.

I am 31+4. Feel a bit of a twit as I have already been in on Sun for stretching pains. I might give it another hr or so and then try ringing. Feel awful if it's still nothing though haha. And thank you

Don't feel stupid - reassuring pregnant ladies is all part of the job when all's said and done. Its something very few of us do regularly, and even then each pregnancy is different.

I'm 100% certain that the MWs would far rather you called and they could either put your mind at rest or check you over than that you didn't say anything and it turned out to be something of concern. The only time they're going to criticise you is if you don't call when there's what turns out to be a problem.

BTW, the notes my IM gave me have a section entitled "Contact me in pregnancy if:". First on the list is "if you have a severe headache/visual disturbance".

Please call them!

Just rang and they said just to wait and see my mw on Mon. At least they don't think it's anything that serious so that's put my mind at rest.

OK but if you feel worse call a doctor AGAIN. YOu might be fine, you might be heading for pre-eclampsia. If you carry on with visual disturbances and your feet and fingers swell, make a big fuss and insist on attenton.
