Blurred vision in Pregnancy

Am almost 12 weeks pregnant, have noticed a couple of incidents of blurred/fuzzy vision this week, not when my eyes have been tired!! Have been terribly sick during this pregnancy, already have 2dd, so am generally knackered but doesn't feel like tired eyes. Should I be concerned or is this just the onwards march towards late thirties

Ooh, not sure + don't want to worry you, but I was just looking up pre-eclampsia earlier today and blurred vision was one of the symptoms. 12 weeks seems quite early tho, but might be worth checking?

I had this last pg at around 12-13 weeks (my low point morning-sickness (well HG) wise). IIRC I was told by GP that it was a sort of very mild migraine brought on by the very bad N&V and dehydration.

I would advise ringing your mw to be on the safe side. have you had any bp checks recently?

I would ask the MW to be sure, but don't worry.

The hormones will change the amount of tears you make, which can affect your vision. Your vision itself can also change temporarily, opticians won't do eye tests while you are pregnant as your prescription changes. I found that my contact lenses are less comfy now, but typically, the prescription for my contacts is better for my eyes right now than my glasses, as my astigmatism has got worse while I am pregnant and the contacts correct that a bit better.

Had bp checked 2 weeks ago,and it was fine, although sometimes my bp can actually be a bit of low side. Thanks Jacks, have been really sick this time and particularly sick this week, will give mw a ring, thanks all for getting back so quickly.

I am having a few probs with floaters, but my doc said it was fine unless associated with bad headaches or problems with vision.
God knows haha. I'm gonna make sure my baby knows exactly what I went through when pregnant haha
