Had my 12 week scan yesterday and everything was fine. I was 11 weeks and 6 days and it was measuring at 5.4cm. When I was pregnant with DS, he was 4.6cm at 11 weeks and 4 days. He was a big boy at 8lbs 11oz and 10 days early.

Does this measurement mean this baby will be bigger or does it not matter at this stage or is it because there are a couple of days difference in the scans? I'm terrified of having a 10lber!

Well, I had my scan at 12 wks 3 days this time round and I think the crown-rump measurement was 6.1cm! Nobody said 'OMG you are going to give birth to an elephant' and I looked it up afterwards in a pregnancy book and 6.1cm was fine. They said I was measuring right for dates.

I measured small for dates with 2nd baby, sent for growth scan, told enormous for dates, gave birth a week early to an under 7lb-er! No logic!

(As in my bump measured SFD so was sent for scan. This was in 3rd trimester.)
