Owwww ...nipples so sore...late pregnancy is it only me with this problem?

Does the sore nipples thing happen to everyone late pregnancy and just not rate a mention compared to the other pregnancy discomforts. Or is it just me that has this?

Mine have hurt all the way through! I really thought there was something wrong but the midwife said it was normal and some people just get it worse than others. I am surprised more people don't moan about it, I have cried because mine hurt so much before!

Nope, mine have been sore all along, and are still sore now, and huge, embarrassingly so when I want to wear cool light tops, I look like a femmebot.

Incidentally, I have also been leaking small amounts of colostrum since about 20 weeks. I find it particularly odd that some is clear, some is white, but some is Sunny Delight bright yellow or orange.

but sooo uncomfortable i have been trying to go braless - in the house at least - but have concluded this makes it no better

I am really surprised it doesn't get much mention as it's so wearing and makes me worry breasfeeding will be torture

and don't get me started on how much it hurts when I get cold

I've also had some strange soreness - more on one nipple than the other! I've found that putting moisturiser on calms it down a bit and makes me feel better at least for a short while.

Another femmebot here. So blinkin embarrassing. I caught sight of my reflection in a shop window when out in a t-shirt the other day and OMG my boobs were torpedo shaped. I looked like I was wearing a Madonna-esque cone bra with peanuts!

And yep, my nipples are sore a lot and I'm only 20 weeks. I think sore nipples are such a common symptom throughout that the books just stop mentioning them.
