Gifts from the new baby

Just packing my hospital bag (home birth planned but just in case!) and hubby and I have decided that we would like to get our 2 ds's a little something from the new baby to make them feel special and spoilt too.

Does anyone have any ideas of what we could get them? Must be something small to fit in bag and not planning on spending a fortune.

We're getting DS a present from the baby too. We were just going to get him a toy car & a card or something. Nothing big or expensive, just a gesture from his new little bro or sis. More importantly he's going to be in charge of showing the new baby around when we bring it home & letting it see all his toys!! He's getting the baby a present too - he has a goldfish in his bedroom & he's getting the baby one to go in the tank with his!!! He's going to pick the fish himself nearer the time!

Thanks for the ideas! A game would be a good one as i'm sure they will need to do lots of amusing themselves in the first couple of days at least.

Also FAB idea about the fish. The boys both have their own goldfish in a tank in te playroom and adding another would be very symbolic for them.

No ideas, but we're planning on doing this too.

We are planning on doing this. Not sure what to get as DS's birthday is 5 weeks after xmas then the baby is due 9 days after his birthday. We will probably get him something from the film Cars, as its his favourite and he is car mad.

We are also going to take him to Build a Bear and let him pick a bear and outfit for the baby, just from Big Brother.

Oh but I love that fish idea!!
