After having had some old blood at 6 weeks I had an early scan and all was well. Now just about to hit 14 weeks and there is more. Particularly worried as on holiday abroad at the moment. What should I do?

Poor you, how stressful while away!

As I'm sure you know, the brown stuff is less worrying than bright red. Really, all you can do is sit tight and hopefully all will be well very shortly. If your symptoms worsen (Sorry don't mean to be pessimistic) then you obviously need to get to a local hospital, but hopefully that won't be necessary.

Sorry for all the stress this must be causing. x

We decided to go to the local Euromedica hospital. They were fantastic, very thorough. They informed me that I had a small issue with the placenta and should rest to see if it improves. They also noted I had low iron and even picked up on the troublesome cough I've had the whole time I've been on holiday. We saw baby bouncing around regardless of it all. Happy days!
