brown discharge

i am just over 6 weeks pregnant i have got heavy brown discharge i went to the doctors but they said if it gets worse go bk in a few days. i also had light bleeding at the begging of my pregnancy and when i went for my first scan they said they could not see any reason for the bleeding and everythings fine, but im just worried now because of the dischare and its my first pregnancy help...........

I had the same at around 6 weeks too, everything was fine at my 12 week scan.

Hello, I had light bleed at 4-5 weeks that I thought was my period at the time only it was too light so I tested (positive).
I had couple of days of brown discharge about 9 weeks too, and now same again at the moment, I am 12+3. I'm thinking its nothing to worry about as its not heavy and no real blood, also evrythin was great at 12 week scan, so try not to worry, my first pregnancy too, congratulations!

they have already scanned you? that's comforting.

I had brown discharge for about a week or so at 6 weeks, everything has been fine (now 36 weeks). Try not to worry, think it's quite normal.

can you tell me a little more about what they said at the scan?

i went 4 the scan on thursday because i had abit of bleeding and they said everything was ok and they couldnt see any reason 4 the bleeding and everything is ok. then ive had he brown discharge since, they gave me something 4 thrush at the doctors and said if it doesnt go or gets worse go bk 2 the doctors and they will do some swobs. im abit confussed 2 be honest!

that sounds good, so you saw the baby where it was supposed to be, and the heartbeat and everything?

yeah i seen the baby and heart everthings good. the discharge seems to have stopped now aswell. so think it was somthing of nothing
