No Isofix in Car

We don't have any isofix points in our car. What's the safest option - we can't get them fitted - is there a base you can click seats into without having isofix points?

Our Maxi Cosi isofix base can be used with just a seatbelt instead of with isofix points. The seat clicks into it.

some seats have bases you can use a seatbelt with yes

a correctly fitted belted seat is as safe as an isofix seat though, so as long as you make sure you install it correctly then you;ll be fine

MAxi-Cosi easybase 2 is non isofix as is the BRitax belted base for babysafe car seats

We had a graco seat and seat base which used a seat belt for the base. It was so much handier than having to put the seatbelt around the seat everytime.

The Maxi-Cosi Easyfix base is what we're getting as our current car doesn't have Isofix but when we replace it, the new one probably will.

we had the same as choufleur and it was great

we had this more or less + the base which you can see if you scroll down a bit on the right-hand-side. It was brilliant as you could click the seat out of the car and into the pushchair if the baby was asleep. This is the best value combo about I think - I'm sure more expensive makes do similar.

HTH
