Am 33 weeks, and am finding that about 10 minutes after I eat I start feeling horrid. Sort of tired, slightly nauseous just UGH!

Just come on here to moan and see if anyone else gets it.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean, I had such an easy 2nd trimester that I stupidly thought that my 3rd would be a breeze ... however as soon as I reached my 3rd my morning ( well all day actually) sickness came back, I feel crap after I eat but have to eat to ease off the sickness, i'm constantly tired and just generally feel crappy .... at least we dont have long left!!

Hi
OnEdge - I get a very similar feeling after I eat, although I'm only 24 weeks. If I eat anything vaguely filling, I feel sick, hot and faint and my heart starts to race! It doesn't feel the same as morning sickness for me just a horrible full up, quesy feeling. I spoke to a midwife who just said it's because everything is getting squashed up in there and my stomach is being pushed to the back. I also find the new weight of my boobs pushing down on my stomach makes it worse.

It's driving me mad!

lolabanola - sorry to hear your morning sickness has returned I'm not looking forward to the 3rd trimester although as you said, it brings us closer to having our little ones!

I'm 35 weeks and having pretty much the same thing. I've got no appetite at the moment at all, when I do eat I find I only eat a few mouthfuls and don't want any more, and then very soon afterwards I feel really sick.'

The baby's coming on the 19th August so I'm really just counting down the days now, I've had enough!

I am nearly 23 weeks and have been feeling like that for the last few weeks. I get really uncomfortable after eating and particularly if I am slumped down watching TV or reading. I have to sit with really good posture or I feel like I may throw up.

I am trying to eat little and often as opposed to three bigger meals which leave me feeling like crap.

Yes, have been like this since about 20 weeks now 25 weeks. I do the little and often like daisystone (not great when trying to encourage a toddler to eat proper meals but there you go).

I also don't sit straight down after eating I potter for 5 minutes and try not to bend over to pick things up to soon after eating.

This is why nobody should worry about how much they eat in the first trimester I was the same with dd eat like a horse in first trimester barely ate at all in tri 2 and 3 so it all evens out.

Cut out heavy or creamy sauces, anything you notice makes it worse and take Gaviscone.

I'm finding that I can eat as much fruit as I want. I stick to easy fruit though like oranges, cherries, plums, nectarines and have given up my beloved bananas.

I'm almost 36 weeks and it's getting better.

Oh, and an obvious one - cut down portion sizes.
