If so, would you recommend it?

Does it work for you?

Nobody? Am I the only woman on here with a Holo?

I don't know what a 'Holo' is.

catbus · 22/07/2010 23:22

What the deuce is a Holo??

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 22/07/2010 23:22

It is a lilo with a hole cut out of the middle specially for pregnant ladies. I've bought one in the hope that it will help position my baby better this time as I had an OP baby last time and I was just wondering if anyone else had used one?

Righto..!!

Isn't kneeling on all fours as effective?

Sounds intriguing:hope it works

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 22/07/2010 23:29

Perhaps, but a bit uncomfortable after a while mabe? I'm hoping I'll be able to use it to go to sleep on my tummy or lie on the floor with it and read magazines in the later stages. Beats scrubbing floors on all fours!

I have one !! Took it on holiday but was for lazing around in comfort rather than positioning - ace purchase.

PickleSarnie · 23/07/2010 08:34

I wish they made mattresses like it. Oh to sleep on my stomach again......sigh.

Miffster · 23/07/2010 08:45

Ooh, am going on hols next week and have found them online - but 34.99! Quite pricey!

Is that what you paid for it?

On the other hand, how else am I going to tan my back and bum?

RaeOfLight · 23/07/2010 10:15

Yeh - I paid that. But sooooooo worth it. I plan to use it in the garden for the rest of the summer (come rain or shine!!)

It is VERY thick mind so you need loads of puff (or you can use an electrical pump, I already have one that came with an airbed - up in seconds!)

can you use these in late pregnancy i'm 39 weeks would love one.

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 23/07/2010 22:19

Yes £34.99 is what I paid, didn't strike me as expensive though but I have been desparetley looking for something that would do the trick including getting one of those massage tables for pregnant ladies! So this was like an epiphany to me!

Rae- what a great idea! I am yet to inflate mine as I am only 12 weeks but I was wondering if you can squeeze a very large bump into it?

Buckler- I think you can use it at any stage providing you can fit your bump into it!

Sorry for the delay - been away. Yes plenty of room for a large bump - no problem whatsoever for me at 32 weeks and I'm fairly chunky!!

I bought one and took it on holiday just a couple of weeks ago. It was really nice in the pool. I had thought I would use it to lie on my front to read when sunbathing outside the pool, but in the end I just lay on my side when I didnt want to lie on my back. I covered it with a towel to make sure that it wasnt sweaty but in all honesty I didnt find it that comfy outside the pool and it gave an alarming sucking sensation on my tummy when I got up!

It's pricey, but I did like it. I have to say that my DH and my friends got as much use out of it as I did because I am not a big lilo wallower anyway. But it was nice that the only floaty thing we had in the pool was something I could use as well. And if you want to get yourself a treat go for it

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 31/07/2010 21:12

Thanks everyone admit I had to laugh as KFW's 'sucking sensation' will be watching out for that! No nice holidays to take it on though but looking forward to being able to lie on my tummy when I get bigger!
