Will DC3 arrive soon?

I am 33 + 2 with my third child and at last appt with doctor a week ago, baby is already 3/5 engaged! Have always carried low throughout the preganancy and bany adopted head down position very early on.

Is this making an early delivery seem more likely?

Previous children came at 41+3 and 38+4 so a gap of almost 3 weeks. If this came another 3 weeks earlier i wouldn't even be 36 weeks!!!! I'm scared!

I was planning a home birth (after 2 previous home births) but am wondering if i should accept that hospital birth is probable.

I also 'feel' like i won't make it to term. Has anyone else felt like this and been right?

I have been 3/5's engaged since 32 weeks with DC4 and am now 40 weeks, 3cms dilated and still 3/5's engaged so I would'nt worry too much!!

I have also been sure this baby would come earlier due to it's size and being sure my dates were wrong but am still waiting (and am bloody pissed off I can tell ya).

Oh I feel your pain! Dispite not wanting to drop anytime soon, i def do not want to go past 40 weeks either.

I am in further torment as a friend of a friend who was due at the same time as me, gave birth yesterday. ARGH!

I have had previous big babies and although been told this one is only average, still makes me cringe at the thought.
