Pregnant after a vasectomy??

...its apparently very rare but does anyone know of anyone getting pregnant several years after their partner had a vasectomy? I'm just wondering if it ever does happen?

Oh it happens! Not often I hope as dh is booked in next month.
When I was in hospital waiting to be induced with ds2 the lady in the next bed was also waiting to have her fourth baby, concieved ten years after her third baby and after her husbands snip! He got checked again when they found out she was pregnant again and the operation had reversed. They were happy with how it all turned out but had had a massive shock!

thanks slightlycrumpled....I'm expecting my first baby in the next 2 weeks and with 2 potential fathers I had always ruled out the guy with the vasectomy as being impossible
