I got a letter asking me to make a telephone appointment following my recent blood test (I'm 29 weeks) and when I rang the next available appt is monday....
So I asked receptionist "it can't be urgent then right?" and she said no not urgent....

But now of course I'm wracking my brains... what could it be?! something like anaemia or GD perhaps...?

Thanks for any help

If you are going to stress until Monday why don't you call the surgery and ask if the GP can give you a quick call at the end of surgery tonight.

At 29 weeks they test for iron, and for antibodies if you are Rh-. So maybe your iron its a little low?

Did they do blood sugar tests then?

dappymoo · 20/07/2010 17:22

I have no idea! I wouldn't be surprised if iron was low as eating meat makes me feel sick at the moment... so maybe I've not been having enough....

try not to worry. If it was urgent they would have phoned and not sent a letter.

It could be..

a - They want to put you on Iron tablets
b - They lost\dropped your bloods and need to redo them
