Hi, when did everyone start suffering baby brain? I'm sure mine's kicked in already and I'm only 5 weeks. I can't remember things that I was about to do which is so annoying - I hope it doesn't get worse!!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yep, mine kicked in at 5 weeks. And it's only a week and a half later and it's getting worse. Literally 10 seconds after I decide to go to the kitchen to put the kettle on i stand there thinking 'why did I come in here?'. I put something down on the table at the bottom of the stairs to take up next time I go, and two days later it's still sitting there. It's particularly bad at work. There are only so many times I can get away with saying 'that document you wanted without fail before I left yesterday, I completely forgot!' before they start thinking rather negatively of me. And because I can't tell anyone yet, I can't even make any kind of excuse!

I hope it gets better as the pregnancy goes on... First scan next week. Hope I see a heartbeat.

yup, mine started (if you can believe it) before even my period was due - it was one of the giveaways that I thought I was pregnant - I couldn't finish sentences or remember easy words! There's no hope for me now!!!

Happened to me, I forgot how to drive at five weeks. It took me about two weeks before I could remember what roundabouts were all about.

This is despite the fact that the week before I had been on a driving course.

Congratulations!!!
