ok so I am 13+3 weeks pregnant and been suffering severe morning sickness since about week 6, it seemed to be getting better about week 9 but then it came back worse than ever at week 10, I cant keep anything down (food ro drink)and feel so miserable. I dont even feel pregnant, I just feel ill.

15 weeks and it stopped. Just like that. Started to enjoy my pregnancy after that.

I feel for you, pregnancy sickness is horrible. Have you tried drinking fizzy water? it was the only thing that helped me.

Really hope it stops soon for you.

Have you been to your GP? If not you need to, to get your wee tested for dehydration and get some drugs.

13 weeks was my lowest point with both pgs.

It sucks doesn't it!

Mine stopped at 16 weeks.

Then the heartburn started around 26 weeks and it was a killer too!

jacksmybaby I have been to my GP and he tested my wee, said it all seemed fine, but they wont give me any drugs for it, have advised I just need to "ride it out"

Just over 13 weeks asteri and it literally stopped in one day. The next I changed personality, cheery, had energy and no more sickiness (except in the car!). Good luck x

Depends if it's hyperemesis or not. If it is you need to get treatment. For my HG, I really suffered no matter what I did and anti-sickness tablets were useless to me by the 16th weeks(that's when they allowed it) and things only got better after the anti-sickness injection which they finally gave me at 22 weeks. Sickness then stopped at 24 weeks although still felt nausea all the time.

But if yours is just a case of MS, then all my friends have said theirs ended at 14-16 weeks and fingers crossed mine will end soon too this time as even though I'm throwing up nearly everyday, it's not really HG so far and hope it stays that way.

Keeping semi-active/distracted, eating a little bit of ginger(NOT the biscuits) every now and again, fizzy drinks(sprite) and avoid tomatoes or anything containing tomatoes like a plague. Oh, oranges too.. always smells very tempting but I sooo regret it after eating them.

oh yes, and even though the test might not show dehydration today, if you are feeling crap after a few days, go back to the doctor. One day my urine test would be absolutely fine and 2 days later I'm back in hospital coz of dehydration.

I was a mess with sickness and fatigue until 17 weeks, then it faded in a day and i started to feel normal and smile again! I took advantage and went to Cuba for two weeks to reward myself for not having killed myself or anyone else during what felt like the most awful time i've ever had. I seriously could not see it ever ending, but it does and you come out the other side a lot stronger i find. I'm now 36 weeks and despite having SPD and barely sleeping, i still don't think it's anywhere near as bad as the sickness.

I went through crisp apples and lots of other fruits, and chocolate hobnobs to keep sugar levels up. I couldn't eat meat so baked potatoes were a saviour. If you find something you can eat that doesn't make it worse, eat it, it doesn't matter what it is as long as you are digesting something of substance!!

I hope you feel better soon.
