Round ligament pain in the second trimester

Has anybody else really suffered? I'm 18 weeks and for the last week I've had awful left and right sided shooting pain and a constant lower ache. I know it's normal - but I can't say I thought it would be quite so sore. Having had previous miscarriages I am, of course, in high anxiety mode as a result!

Yes, I get it when I walk fast or if i sneeze whilst lying down. It's agony but apparently totally normal. I'm afraid to say it but I still get it at 31 weeks. Although it seems to have improved slightly.

Yes, I had it at around 13-16 weeks. It was truly awful, so incredibly painful. I could barely walk accross the room and just couldn't get comfortable anywhere for any length of time.

You have my sympathies.

Mine suddenly passed though and it was such a glorious feeling to be able to stand up from a chair without bracing for the pain! It hasn't come back and I'm now 35 weeks.
