Another Q, I am starting to wonder if the constant meds I have been on for a persistant UTI are causing problems.

I have had 3 babies before ok all boys but they have been on the large side scans, 90th centile etc.

This time I am having a girl but she is not very big. I was told at my 20 week scan she was measuring quite small for dates but they did not see anything of any concern.

A month later I had a scan at a 4d place to confirm gender, check and show the other kids. This was just over a week ago now.

She said to me at the time was anything said about the size at your 20 week scan as the baby is quite small for dates, 8th centile the report says but again just saying as if it were ok.

It's starting to play on my mind as the 8th centile is quite small isn't it? Considering I have usually had large babies, anyone been here before?

Hi, my ds1 was always small for dates, he ended up 9th or 10th centile. Breech baby, born by cs at 39 weeks and weighed 5lb 7oz. Now aged 6 he is still a mere slip of a lad but very healthy, just about the 25th centile for weight and height.

At his frequent growth scans, his legs were at one point 4 weeks 'different' to his girth measurement . Dh and I have the same 30" leg length so he never was going to be a giraffe!
