It really is the best non-alcoholic drink I have found that isn't just dull. It's delish!

PS I don't work for Kopparberg, just passing on some useful info xx

Ooooh I have to agree with you! This will be a god send at warm summer BBQs!

MrsFooty · 17/07/2010 09:13

Love it too like drinking pear drops!

I'm afraid I have to disagree - far too sweet and sickly for me. Like drinking bubblegum. Peartiser was much nicer and more subtle.

xMrsSx · 17/07/2010 11:04

I thought peartiser was sweeter... It smelt delicious but just tasted sugary. It may well be our hormone-effected tastbuds though?!

Someone said Becks do a half-decent non-alcoholic beer that might be worth a shot? Hs anyone here tried it?

Clausthaler do a pretty good 0.5% alcohol beer, so virtually alcohol free.

MummyBeth · 17/07/2010 11:31

Where can you buy it?

Oh God I hope somewhere close - there's only so much soda water and lime a girl can take!

UnseenAcademicalMum · 17/07/2010 11:33

Sainbury's and Ocado both sell it.

oliviacrumble · 17/07/2010 11:41

Becks non-alcoholic is not bad at all.

The best of the non-alcoholic beers, imo.

MrsBadger · 17/07/2010 11:49

0% Cobra for me

vmcd28 · 17/07/2010 14:59

Becks Blue is amazing - I had a sip of REAL beer the other day and thought it tasted awful compared to the zero alcohol stuff!
Schloer is nicer than Kopparberg, and cheaper

tyler80 · 17/07/2010 15:23

Tesco's sell it, as do Ikea.

Ikea also do their own brand peartiser stuff too

5inthebed · 17/07/2010 15:26

Ikea also sell an apple one, lovely and refreshing.

Weston's (Stowford Press?) 0.5% is hands down the best LA cider. It's still got bite which some others lose when the alcohol is removed.

Also; Tesco LA Cabernet Sauvignon...a bit sweet but as LA/NA wine goes it's bloody tasty.

What a lovely thread with such good info to share about! Wish I'd found it earlier Smile

Lunde · 12/09/2017 10:53

The Elderflower and Strawberry/Lime alcohol free ciders are also very nice

Expectingbsbunumber2 · 12/09/2017 11:04

I agree it was bloody tasty! 😋

TriJo · 12/09/2017 11:29

You'll pry my Brewdog Nanny State from my cold dead hands.

Swedish cider is way too sweet.

Ah, Nanny State - lovely lovely. Gives me terrible farts though.

kshaw · 12/09/2017 12:57

Echo falls do a alcohol free fizz that feels like your having a real glass of fizz - really enjoyed it

LlygodenFach · 12/09/2017 13:04

TheLegendOfBeans, I'm afraid we didn't consider the potential for flatulence in any reviews: www.drinkwisewales.org.uk/alcohol/alcohol-free/beer-reviews/#Nanny-State I'll be sure to, erm, look into that...

LlygodenFach · 12/09/2017 13:05

Thanks, kshaw. Where did you get that?

Leapy1 · 26/07/2026 19:12

Wish I could the same, the other flavours are lovely, but the pear is literally a bitter disappointment!! 🥴
