I always seem to be overdue with pregnancies. I'm due on the 3rd August and exam is on 16th. If I get to 40 weeks and ask for an induction due to exam or do u think will have to wait and see. Normally 2 weeks over which brings me to 15th Aug not good if I have to stay in hospital overnight.

Can you not defer the exam?

no it is a resit so last chance to sit it. All others are done just this one. Would being 40 weeks full term go for me for Induction?

I doubt you would be given an induction at 40 weeks for a purely non-medical reason.

Are you at uni or law school? Can you double-check their policy on re-sits and deferrals? (If you were studying at the law school I teach at you would still be able to defer even on a last-chance re-sit except if you were timed out of finishing the course within 3 years.)

I doubt you would be given an induction unless there was a medical reason due to the fact there are risks involved with induction, eg intervention is more likely to be needed if you're induced I believe.
