anyone had a cvs that came back ok?

i went for my first scan on tues,i was told that my baby had to much fluid at the nuchal fold,it came back 4.1.i was told i had a higher chance of downs syndrome ect. i was offered a cvs on wed so i went for it,it was really painfull but i really want to know. has anyone else been through this and what was the outcome?i am 28 and have a healthy 7 year old. thnks

Hi. I had a cvs and I am 32 and have 3 boys already. My fluid was higher than yours. Mine came back fine. The Downs comes back in 48hrs the other ones take longer but are rarer. I also had to go for heart scans but they came back fine aswell. Have you asked to know the sex of the baby from the test.

yes i would like to know,she said something about a heart scan once i get results,thats great yours came back clear,its going to be a long 2 weeks for the full results!
