early pregnancy & wine!!! Help

Just found out I am pregnant (only literally 4 weeks) I kind of thought I may be but did an early test last week which was negative,so I drank lots Saturday night and then was a few days late with my period & have now had a very feint positive,its definitely positive but I am worried about the alcohol I drank!! I won't drink from now on but I didn't really believe I would fall first month!!!....Does anyone know the effects this may have on development?

Don't know a woman who hasn't got hammered just before a positive test. It will have absolutely no effect on developement at all. First lesson of pregnancy is not to believe all the horror stories, otherwise you'll drive yourself insane with worry! Relax, all will be fine.

I wouldn't worry about it, it happens a lot. I was 8 weeks pregnant when I foudn out I was pregnant with DS3 and had had a few weekends drinking lots of wine and cocktails. He is perfectly fine, no damage done.

well I have got smashed with the girls on both my pregnancies having got a negative result that day only to get a positive a few days after. I am sure people do an awful lot worse and their babies are fine so don't worry about it
