Advice please bleeding again!

I am 10 weeks pg, i have had 3 bleeds and have had scans all 3 times and all has been ok.Yestaday morning i bled again, thought i wouldnt bother the hospital, they told me if i bled again to phone gp or midwife ( sounded like they were fed up of me coming in) anyway woke up this morning with stomach pains, went to the toilet and there was a small amount of blood (only a spot) but i am woried about the pain in my stomach. What do i do? The early pg clinic is not open today, i havnt got a phone number for the midwife, should i phone gp or leave it till monday? or do i just hope its nothing like the other 3 times?

Also has anybody else had this many bleeds so early on?

Do not let them feel like you are being a pain. Ring the GP or can't you go to A&E if the early pg unit is closed?

Hopefully all is fine as the other occasions you have had, but for your own peace of mind go and get checked.

What is the pain like..period pains?
I think you should get checked out.

The pains are realy low down and hurt more when led down. Think i will phone gp at 9am as they are open for emergancy apointments.

is the blood red?

yestaday it was red, today it was old blood.gb

alternatively, phone NHS direct now - that is what they are there for and have specialist staff who will advise you. When I was pregnant they were really useful as they always had a midwife on hand to speak to me.
If in doubt - don?t waste time worrying about worrying them - that is their job to check people out. Have you taken your temp? any other symptoms even if they seem totally unrelated?

Felt realy ill and hot yestaday, just thought i was geting a bug. I dont feel as bad today, i still feel pg and sick.

Just feel realy fed up, the hospital has not been much help and made me feel that i was making a fuss about nothing. Realy wish they could find a reason for all this bleeding. Im not making a fuss am i? Think i will go and see gp and tell him whats going on but im sure he will only send me back to the hospital.

Dont worry about what people think. Just do what you think..this is YOUR baby and you need to be happy. they are paid to do the job and sod them!!!

I waited carried on as normal and you know what happened to me!!
Cant help thinking if I had gone to bed at the first sight of blood I would still be pregnant!!!

Go to A&E. There are other checks they can do to reassure you or tell you whats happening. Push for everything. I have had 2 mc and am now 21 weeks pregnant BUT i had to push for constant monitoring in this pregnancy. My last mc i Knew something was worng and ended up donw A&E for hours till someone looked at me. You need to know, good or bad. Goodluck

It is not uncommon to have this many bleeds in early pg. Various aches and pains are fairly common, too. But you won't know till you get checked, and for your own sanity over the next two days you really should pursue this. Don't let them make you feel embarrassed for 'making a fuss' - this is IMPORTANT. Best of luck and let us know how you get on. xxx

Hope you are ok? Sorry to read that you have been feeling unwell on top of this worry - tbh it could wel be the stress, hormones and worry making you feel lousy
remember - don?t worry about upsetting the doctors - as mumtosomeone said, it is their job.

Couldnt get hold of GP yestaday so will have to wait till tomorow, bleeding has stoped, i still have morning sickness (think thats a good sign) i still have a ache in my stomach but i think all is ok. Thank you all for your advice, will keep you posted on how i get on at the doctors tomorow.

HI Marne, this happened to me last week...perhaps you can go to A&E, I don't think there is anyone available to do scans over the weekend, but they will give you a pg test & if there is a doc available they will exam you. Failing that, they will call you back for a scan tomorrow.

I think you need to know what's going on, but as there is probably nothing that can be done today, just relax.

Well went to see the doctor this morning, he was alot more help than the hospital, went through all the reasons why i could be bleeding, he said i could have a weekness on my uterus ( i think i had this with my 1st pregnancy but didnt bleed till 6 months) Anyway he said to go back next week to arange another scan to put my mind at rest. He said the baby should be ok as the last scans i had showed it was growing fine and the couldnt see anything to worry about but he said things can change so its best to get it checked out but as i seem to have a bleed most weeks its not worth having a scan each time.
Anyway im still feeling sick and pg and i know its early but im sure i have felt movments in my tummy ( maybe its wind ). So fingers crossed all will be ok when i have my next scan.
