Cant stop crying!

I am 25 weeks and I can not stop crying... yesterday I cried at the documentary about Concorde, several adverts, when my ds painted me a picture and because I had a brief disagreement with my sister.

Today I cried because my dd was not feeling that well but went to school anyway, because my dh is having a bad day at work, because tax credits told me my date of birth was wrong and because someone rang me and when I answered they put the phone down.

Please say I am not the only one!!!!!!!

That was me last week (am 27 weeks so was 26 weeks then) I cried at really stupid things and I never normally cry so you are not alone. The concorde documentry was quite interesting!

breatheslowly · 13/07/2010 15:57

Definitely not the only one - I just hope it goes away when my baby arrives, I can't spend the rest of my life bursting into tears over things that I know are not remotely worth it.

RoxyLady · 13/07/2010 16:02

IS crying alot bad for the baby? ||When I start crying my boyf says not to as it will upset hte baby

PickleSarnie · 13/07/2010 16:05

I cried in Somerfield because I couldn't find the Marmite once so, no, you're not the only one.

Not sure if it could be entirely blamed on hormones though. Perhaps if I'd been shopping in Waitrose it wouldn't have been so upsetting?!

sorky · 13/07/2010 16:07

it'll pass, probably towards the end and no, it doesn't harm baby. Better than being stressed about something.

Though don't watch nature documentaries or sob-birth stories, you'll never stop!

misdee · 13/07/2010 16:09

am 15/16 weeks and sobbing all the time. last week i sobbed when dh gave me a hug and said he loved me

sorky · 13/07/2010 16:09

Are you really Misdee?! No 5 eh? Ahh I'm a little bit jealous

Congratulations!!

Nolda · 13/07/2010 16:10

And whatever you do, don't watch Dumbo. I sobbed out loud when I watched that when pregnant.

misdee · 13/07/2010 16:17

yes sorky i am.

its been a rollercoaster as am totally scared by the thought of 5 kids.

japhrimel · 13/07/2010 16:27

I cried in the changing rooms at Bravissimo when I found the bras I'd picked up to try on were the wrong size!

sorky · 13/07/2010 16:32

Nah! you'll be fine. I honestly think 4 is the killer, after that flinging another at you won't matter really (she hopes).

I'd have loved 6, but little body wouldn't manage it. We very nearly changed our minds about the snip and went for 5 though.
You need to plant your feet firmly in the Larger Families section hehe

Very pleased for you, followed you through Peter's difficult days from long ago. Always makes me smile to see you posting

Congratulations again

DH thinks it's hilarious seeing me cry at all sorts. I cried at Die Hard!! (I was about 15 or 16 weeks then)

And I found myself crying on the way to taking the dog for a check-up - I was imagining them finding all sorts of things wrong with him, and that he'd have to be put to sleep, and so on and so on. He was only having a routine blood test taken!

I was weepy with DS too, (I cried at Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron when pg with him)

lilmissmummy · 13/07/2010 20:52

oooh, also cried when dh had a haircut!

I'm usually very happy, not particularly emotional. Since I hit week 29, I've been a sooky blubbing horrible mess. DH is a bit bemused!

sazziej · 14/07/2010 09:25

I'm glad I'm not alone, I'm 33 weeks today and spent all of Monday crying, over nothing in particular!

DH has been really understanding and keeps telling me I'm bound to be tired and emotional as I'm growing a person!

Mam2Be · 14/07/2010 13:56

I feel kind of bad because I haven't cried....nothing has really made me feel emotional and I'm 30 weeks!! that's probably more abnormal lol

Freeasabird58 · 14/07/2010 15:17

I have been the same on & off for the last 2 weeks. (i'm 25+5)

I cried because i scratched te car.

I cried because i couldntge a moth out of the toilet.

I cried because the pram&carseat i had myheart set on was unavailable because the car seatdoesnt fitour ar. (but i thought about t and we are getting the pram system but a separate car seat )

I was starting to think I was abnormal but no its hormones. lol

Hugs! xx
