(((()))

It's so hard to say. Bleeding is not 'normal' but very, very common. I've had it in bith pregnancies (26 weeks now). Bleeding that is not accompanied by pain is much less serious than when you having pain/ cramping.

Hope all goes well for you. xx

No phone them and tell them you are bleeding, i had this with both my pregnancies but alot more problem with my 2nd pregnancy. But my baby is 7 months now and huge! Don't leave it, you must phone them and they will tell you to go in and get checked as they did here to me, told me to go straight down to them. It puts your mind at rest when you hear a heart beat. Pohne them now xx

Hi, I'm 7 wks, and started bleeding at 5 wks. We phoned NHS Direct, who were really helpful. I also phoned the midwives (even though I hadn't had my booking in appointment yet) and she arranged for me to go to the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit at the hospital for an early scan and tests. I had a scan 10 days ago, to rule out ectopic, and they could see the yolk sac, and had another scan today which showed much more detail, including the heart beating. I'd definately phone your midwife team, and see if you can get checked over. It will put your mind at ease to know that you are being looked after. Good luck x
