Is there any point in taking any of the rules seriously? It seems that with pretty much every one of them it is based on a very limited understanding of things.

Lol at "mothers who didn't drink during their first trimester had trouble getting their children to behave". Agree with gigglet - I've happily ignored all the rules!

Perhaps the type of parent who gets hung up on following every guideline to the letter is projecting some sort of anxiety onto the kids, which makes them badly behaved?
