Treating athlete's foot - wrongly?

Having a mild panic. I had athlete's foot and use Daktarin activ (an over the counter anti fungal cream) about 5 times...it was in the cabinet. Then today suddenly freaked and thought that maybe it was potentially harmful. Anyone know for sure?

(I had a fungal patch on my leg (i exercise still) and the pharmacist told my partner that canesten with clotrimazole was fine to use in pregnancy - so I assumed it was all much the muchness...)

Have I done harm or am I being incredibly neurotic?

Found this...

"This medicine should be used with caution during pregnancy, and only if the expected benefit to the mother is greater than any possible risk to the foetus. Miconazole is unlikely to be absorbed through the skin in sufficient amounts to affect the baby. However, as with all medicines, you should seek medical advice from your doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant"

Thanks - I phoned NHS direct and they were very helpful and said not to worry at all but to go to doctor if it flares up again.
