Hmm how to manage with a square seat toilet?

Anyone had a square seat toilet...if so what can I use for toilet training? Most of the seats are to fit a circular seat. DS looking a bit crushed sat on a potty so was quite kean when I start this potty training to get hime straight onto the loo. Sadly all seat are non refundable, so getting an expensive dilema

I never used a seat on our toilet. Both ds and dd just sat on the normal rim with their legs out wide and held on either at the sides or at the front.
