Stool Witholding

Good morning everyone, I am really just looking for some light at the end of the tunnel (or perhaps a miracle strategy).
My DD will be 4 at Christmas. She has been stool witholding for almost 2 years now after a particularly bad reaction to drinking whole milk which left her constipated and in pain.
Fast forward to now(skipping a LOT), she is now on one sachet of cosmacol per day which means what she is passing is soft and she can't completely withold any more. We had a visit to family in August where she mostly used the toilet to poo but returned to sometimes witholding at home. Some rewards seemed to be helping and we discovered that she can poo on demand.
We have just been on a family holiday where we told her she had to poo before entering the pool so, each day, sometimes multiple times a day, she would do a normal poo before entering the pool.
We returned home and, apart from a couple of tiny poos, she hasn't pooped in a few days. This morning, she went away and hid and pooped her pants.
I usually try not to draw much attention to it and just clean up etc but this morning I have been crying and I'm just so upset. I thought the great progress on holiday may have been a reset for us. It is so frustrating that she can poo on command but then is choosing/trying to withold at other times.
I feel terrible for my reaction this morning but I am at my wits end and really concerned about her starting school next September and still being in this position.
GP not helpful.
Thank you if you've made it this far!

I would go back to GP. When my ds started school we had some issues and gp put him on 3 sachets of movicol a day and that got things moving. Within 6 months completely off movicol
