Potty training outings: stay home, use pull-ups, or try pants?

DS2 has been full on potty training for the past 3 days. Today all wees were on the toilet/potty with a couple of wet patches on pants where he had stopped himself from wetting himself and one poo accident. Majority of the past 3 days he has been at nursery but has been familiar with the toilet for a while.

Is it better to skip a brunch outing tomorrow and stay home or do brunch with a pull up on, or go to pants already when out?

Have a longer outing garden bbq on Saturday so wondering what to do then too.

Any help would be appreciated!

Brilliant. Well done

I didn’t do intervals.

I don’t know your circumstances so this is nothing more than an observation but no nursery round here would start toilet training at all. I mean they might take one along and give it a go. But to instigate three full days, no chance.

they may pick it up after three days at home, but then would call after accidents and say try again later.

so you have a great nursery.

and I work in one.

mine were all late to get it. Then they just did. I must confess I didn’t force it. I just let them be. And when it came to night training they were all immediate. Whereas friends who had smashed day time with a routine very quickly, nights took longer.

they are all different.
