Ask Huggies to bring DryNites XXL to the UK

Originally in AIBU but probably more use here…

DD is high functioning autistic with multiple sensory issues and she still wets the bed.
I’ve always used DryNites but even the XL 13+ size is now getting quite snug.

I’ve been doing some research and can see that in the US and Canada the parent company makes an identical product called “Goodnites” which comes in an additional size XXL.

I got a couple of samples off eBay and they are significantly bigger than the 13+ size. They fit DD with tons of room to spare.
They would be ideal as she continues to grow.

They can be got from Amazon but the shipping from the USA makes them unaffordable as a regular option.

Would there be sufficient demand in the UK for these to be stocked in supermarkets?

I know there was a campaign some time ago for SEN nappies to be stocked in supermarkets and Tesco now stock giant “Junior” tape on nappies, but they’re not the same and I can’t see DD agreeing to
use those if the DryNites became too
big.

These are the ones I’m talking about.

If anyone from Kimberly-Clark UK is
trawling this forum, please please please could we have them in UK?

I like the idea of reusables but never found any that don’t leak, sadly.

DryNites do the job well in keeping her comfortable- it’s just the XL are getting rather “snug”, hence my hope that we’ll get these in XXL on this side of the Atlantic!

If anyone else would find these useful for their DC, please do message Kimberly Clark via this link and ask them to bring DryNites XXL to the UK:

We have tried all those.

The Nundies are no bigger than DryNites 13+ unfortunately and there was a bit of “seepage” that we don’t get with DryNites.

The adult ones look horribly clinical and just don’t have the absorbency (probably because they are not designed for night time. The pad doesn’t go from front to back
like DryNites- it’s just in the middle, so leaks happen.

The only other way to get the absorbency and coverage is to use the tape-on type pads but DD won’t even consider these because “it’s a nappy”.

What we want/ need does exist, and it’s called Goodnites XXL, made by the same
people who make DryNites.
