We're currently on the bare bum stage, so very early days but progress is good so far, only day 2. Ds is 2y5m. With my daughters I put them in dresses before adding in knickers, but what do boys wear in these early days!? Shorts are obviously same time consuming as pants. Am I being really thick here?!

Just go to pants? How time consuming is it to whip them down? 2 seconds? If they can't give you 2 seconds notice then you're just catching wees instead of toilet training.

I'm following "oh crap" method where pants is stage 4. I'm only stage 1 at the moment.

I just had T-shirts on my girl as dresses made it a bit harder for her to get to the potty! Although in this weather if they wanted to be naked I'd have let her! I didn't go out with her the first few days though x

Just a t shirt and stayed at home first few days.

Going back a few years now, but principal the same I should think! I used under pants from day one with a t shirt. Made a big thing of going and buying them and wearing big pants like daddy not a nappy. Yes you get lots of wet ones so I suggest you get plenty I would rinse out any wet ones and then hot wash everyday in the machine. It makes it easier the weather is good so you can be outside
