Signs of an imminent poo...?

DD1 took forever to train and I've been dreading being at this stage again. In fact she almost six and still in night pull ups.
However I finally started DD2 over the weekend and she's doing really well. She's cracked wees already and we had a totally dry day today. Which is great, but...
She seems to have no idea when a poo is arriving until it's too late. My eldest was the opposite with this; she got scared and used to withhold. So it's great DD2 isn't doing that but obvs it's messy and she seems to have no time to get to the potty before it's out.
Any ideas on how to help her recognise what's going on?

Have you done the whole watching them like a hawk so you can see their signs?

DS would put his hand on his belly, when we were training we would say something along the lines of mummy thinks you might need a poo, let’s sit on the potty so that you can do the poo in the potty.

Your daughter will likely have a different thing she does when she’s about to go

After a bit DS learnt for himself what feelings he has before hand and could then tell us.
