Hi all
My daughter who is 2.5 has been weeing on the potty or toilet really well with encouragement but still has some accidents on the floor which I accept are part of it, but overall she's doing really well, she hasn't worn a nappy in the day for weeks now, even when out and about and any accidents she has while we were out I just get her changed without a fuss. She's good at weeing on the potty while out if there's no toilet nearby. She doesn't have accidents at nursery anymore and the only toilets she will use is the one at nursery and at home. She just refuses with any other toilet plus she still won't poo in the potty. Does anyone have any advice how I can make her feel safe and comfortable to poo on the potty? I get that using other toilets she's not used to may be very alien to her. She still wears a nappy at nights from half 7 pm as she's always asleep by 8pm. Would getting her out the nappies at night help? Personally I think she's too young right now for that next big step but what does everyone else think? Would it make a difference to whether she poos on the potty or not?
