I’ve no idea how to get son to wear pants

My son recently turned 3

We have attempted potty training on and off since Christmas when He was 2.5

He starts a nursery school in September just 2 months away and he needs to be out of nappies by then

I’ve tried everything and he has full on melt downs at the idea of wearing anything but nappies

I’ve even tried him being naked around the house and garden on the bottom but he refuses to go naked to

Will he ever be ready?

He will pop in his nappy and happily sit in it as long as he possibly can because he hates us changing his nappy, but still doesn’t want to wear pants

He is dry through the night, but won’t go without a nappy.

I’m so worried and embarrassed of how he will ever join nursery like this

Have you tried shopping and letting him chose his own pants? Great book out called Dinosaurs Love Underpants!

He’s got all the pants he’s chosen and he was excited the first time he put a pair on but wet himself about a minute later and has never wanted to wear them again

He was just in hospital for 4 days and they needed a urine sample from him so took off his nappy and left him to wee and he just held it.

They gave up in the end and when he finally had a nappy back on he flooded it
