My son is almost 3 he picked up potty tranning really well. He origanly was scared to poo on the potty but overcome that and woukd sit and do a poo on his potty or the toilet. Recently the issuse i have is that when his body is signaling to poo he is jumping up and down shouting its hurting over and over. This can go in for a period of 2 days until eventualy he has no choice to sit on his poty and poo as he waites till the very last second because it just makes its own way out! The problem is that he wont sit on the potty and help squeeze the poo out he now just waits until it just comes out and its not hard its just a normal poo so hes not consipated its just a very large poo where hes held it in for so long. Its so stressful when hes jumping up and down shouting because there is nothing i can do apart from tell him its hurting because you need to poo and your not pooing you will feel better once you sit on your potty and poo. Please help i just dont know what to do to encouring him that its ok and normal.
