DD is 26 months and coming on leaps and bounds. Her speech is now at the point where she can ask questions and form proper sentences. I was planning on leaving potty training until the summer when I have 3 weeks off work and she can go "bottomless" at home. Knickers bought, reward chart ready in the cupboard and a potty in both the bathroom and living room to get her used to it being around.
This morning, however, the stubborn little thing point blank refused to have a nappy on while getting ready for nursery. So I put a pair of knickers on, told her key worker why and fully expected to have lots of washing tonight and her back in her nappy.
She's had one accident. ONE. So now I'm thinking she's probably ready so should carry on if she's done so well in day one. But how do I do it? I can't keep her at home liked planned because I work full time and weekends will be tough because we have a lot going on over the next month.
Sorry for rambling but I'm a planner and this going so far off plan has thrown me quite a lot.
Any tips/advice?
