My son is 2 yrs 5 months and has been potty trained since Christmas. At home and out and about he always asks when he needs a wee, including at soft play, play groups and cafes etc. So not like it's just
because hes distracted. When he goes to nursery he sets himself 4 or 5 times a day. I just can't understand it.
Should they have a system in place for potty training children because I don't think they do? My husband dropped him off this morning at 8am and told them he had been asking for a wee in the car so please take him as soon as. The email from nursery told me he first wet himself at 8:30am. The staff just tell me it's normal and it's because he's "busy" at nursery but I'm not buying it....

Mine wet at nursery because he wouldn’t poo there. He usually pooed at home before nursery but if he didn’t then he was wet multiple times. Nursery worked with us to encourage his first nursery poo.
They should have something in place for helping him, much easier to remind him to go regularly than change wet clothes. Perhaps they aren’t taking him because you tell them he asks at home.

Pooing is a whole 'nother issue we're having. He withholds. But that doesn't affect his weeing at home so don't think it's that. He's nailed weeing.

I have asked them to take him but they don't seem to offer often enough. There are a lot of children in his room and I feel he's just getting "forgotten".
