I've got issues with my youngest pooing in his pants all the time. He's suffered from loose stools most of his life (food allergies) but things have 'firmed' up a little and he's still not even attempting to go on the potty.
He hasn't got a phobia or anything, unfortunately i think I've made a rod for my own back. When his poos were looser and he couldn't control them I would try and reassure him that it wasn't his fault and next time he could do it on the potty. He now thinks its acceptable to just do it in his pants. I've read a few threads which all mention a book called 'poo goes to pooland' which i think has got to be worth trying. Unfortunately all the links direct me to a webpage with subscription fees. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Or if anyone has experienced a similar problem please let me know what worked for you. The usual treat/star chart/toy/days out bribes just aren't working.
