2.5 year old has been potty trained for months. Suddenly started having 3-4 accidents a day. Any advice please?

My toddler has been potty trained for months now, but recently she has been saying "wee" seconds before she has an accident. Any advise on how to deal with this and get her back on track?

My dd was potty trained without any problems at all, so when she started wetting herself after a year or so of being trained, I didn't know what to think.

When my mum suggested it could be a water infection, I didn't pay much attention as it didn't seem to be painful or burning when she had a wee. However I did take a water sample to the gp who confirmed an infection.

Long waffle way of saying she could have a UTI!

Mine did this because they got so self absorbed in what they were doing. So I started reminded them to go at certain points in the day and they got back on track.

Thank you for your responses. I would have thought that there would be other symptoms associated with UTI, such as fever, but its worth getting it checked out.
Though my instinct tells me its more like Believeitornot. She gets too engrossed in what she is doing.

Mine did that too at around that age, I think he just got confident and we stopped thinking about it so much, like believe said. We also solved it by reminding him more often. Good luck!

Honestly, my dd had no other symptoms other than an urgency for the loo. No temp or anything and she was still perfectly dry overnight. She had a couple of infections as she got older too where the only symptom was going repeatedly for a wee.
