So we had our first day of no accidents yesterday and our dd (2.4) had no issues with poos from day 1. We went cold turkey to pants last Thursday. So as I'm sure lots of you find, it's a lot of work. So whilst it's going well, I insist she goes on the potty before the next desired activity to stop her having accidents whilst distracted or in the high chair. So do I just keep going? She never asks to go. When does this start to happen? (in your experience, I know they're all different) How do you encourage asking? How do you do playgroups, etc. Just wait until they have done a wee then go?
I'm just nervous for the next step. I have a 6week old son. We started because she literally got up on Thursday and asked for pants and she knows about them from the childminder. I'm just worried that more accidents will start when my baby becomes a bit more demanding or I'm not giving it my 100% attention because we're not in the first week anymore. Sorry for the rambling.
Any and all opinions welcome x
