4 yo poos in his nappy every night - how to stop it?

My just 4yo DS has been dry in the day for over a year but every single morning has a poo in his pull up. I think it's in his sleep and he just doesn't wake up. We've tried encouraging him to try to do a poo every time he does a wee, and giving him a treat when he manages but it doesn't seem to be v effective. And now he is trying to take his pull up off in the morning to disastrous effect - we need to crack this!

I don't think you can stop i, but a onesie might stop him being able to take it off, I've had to put duct tape over the zip in the past.

It may yet come to that! Hopefully he'll just get into a better routine with time. He sits on the loo for ages trying in the day to no avail!

The problem is if you do it too much there come a point where you make it into an issue for him.
The last thing you want is him to just continually hold it, become impacted and need a visit to a doctor. At least now he's going every night.
