Fab at being dry 24/7, nightmare at pooing in pants

Our granddaughter is only 2 years 4 months old, has been super at becoming dry since she started potty training. In fact has hardly used her potty but usually goes to the toilet or uses the training seat on the loo upstairs. However pooing is a nightmare! Since she was a baby she has always gone off in a corner when she wanted to do a poo even in her nappies and still tries the same trick now. No amount of temptation will coerce her out of her hiding place while she does her business and I really do not know what to do. It is not just at our house it happens at nursery too.

Just let her be. She is very young. DS continued to use nappies for his pops for about 6 months after he did potty training. Then it just seemed to click with him.
