Can I reset his bodyclock so he fills his nappy at a more convenient time?

Instead of at 5/5.30 am every morning? He's 2. I was trying to get him to stay in bed, or at least play quietly in his room until 6 am (gro clock in room), but I can't leave him in a dirty nappy as he will get sore and it will leak poo (epic messy poos, i wonder if there is something wrong with his digestion). But by going in to him to change him, he then thinks it's time to get up, plus it wakes his older brother up. What's the best way to try and get him to poo a bit later? Should I be trying to clear him out before he goes to bed, and if so are there any safe natural laxatives he could have? Apart from anything else, when we start potty training, I don't want to be dealing with poo pants/messing about with toilet/potty at that hour either!
