Help and advice please.......nrly 3 yr old hysterical if she is nappy free or has an accident

I am not sure what to do. My DD will be 3 after xmas and we are nowhere near toilet training. If i take her nappy off she constantly asks for a nappy and if she starts to wee she gets hysterical, wont sit on the toilet / potty but has a meltdown until i put a nappy on. Im just not sure what to do to help her overcome her fear but also show her that its ok. Ive never been cross or upset about accidents on the carpet. She would also happily sit in her own poo all day as she always denies shes done a poo just says its weewees! Any advice welcome. Thanks

My DS is the same age and is the same! I had a thread on here a couple of months ago as he decided not to wear a nappy for a day. Great I thought, until he did a poo on his toy table and completely freaked out! Since then he has resisted all suggestions to try again. Nightmare...
