Today he finally (after weeks of encouragement), did a very long perfectly formed deposit.

The last time I was so excited, it was upon discovering my 'perfect' dress in Monsoon!

Perhaps I need a new hobby...

I can relate to that - and it happened to me (or rather to DS) about 6 years ago Grin.

i remember texting a friend who clearly thought I was very odd...until a year or so later when she sent me a similar text!

Congratulations to you both!

Not strange! I just logged on cause i needed to share the same news! whoop whoop and well done kids! Now all i need is a repeat performance sometime and we might be on our way to being potty trained at 3.5 years!

monkeyandanimal my boy is 3.5 too and I was beginning to despair as his brother just took it upon himself to go straight from nappies to the loo (with assistance). Another success today and this time he asked to go. Hopefully it's not a one off Grin
