It just seems counter-intuitive to try and force him back into nappies. We've had pants, potty and pirate Pete book around for ages and one day he just said 'nappies are for babies, I wear pants'. He's 2.10 and physically very able, so we can keep him dry all day by reminding him to use potty/ toilet on a hourly basis. He happily uses loos when we are out too. However if we don't remind him he will never think to go on his own or ask to go. We are on week three and if not vigilant on reminding him going through 6 to 8 pairs of trousers a day (luckily floors wood and tile!).
Any suggestions, any experience, do we just keep at the reminders (and chocolate bribes)?
